Images

Images is the workspace shelf for every picture you work with - what you upload, what you paste, the pieces of the board you send Mesh, and what Mesh draws for you. One place for every visual in the room.

Where your pictures live

Every visual lands on the same shelf, no matter where it came from. Pick one from the list on the left and it opens in the preview on the right.

How pictures get here

Four ways in, all landing on the same shelf.

UploadAdd a picture from your device with Upload image.
PastePaste an image into the chat box and it's saved here too.
From the boardEvery whiteboard picture you send Mesh is captured here, exactly as it looked.
Made by MeshAsk for a diagram or illustration and the result lands here, tagged Generated.

Put a picture to work

A picture on the shelf isn't just for looking at. From its three-dot menu you can send it wherever you need it.

  • Add to message drops the picture into the chat box, so Mesh knows exactly which image you mean.
  • Pin here places it on the current whiteboard page, right beside your work.
  • An reference points at it from anywhere, and Pin to chat keeps that reference above the chat box.

Sending a picture to Mesh
Open a tessellation's menu, choose Add to message, and ask Mesh about the pattern.

Inside a note

Drop a picture into a Note and it starts as a small chip, so it stays connected without taking over the page. Tap the chip and choose Show image here when you want the full picture written in. The Notes page shows both looks.

Mesh reads pictures - and draws them

Mesh works with your images both ways. To have it look at a specific picture, hand it over with Add to message so it opens the exact one you mean. And when a picture would explain something better than words - a symmetry diagram, a labeled figure, a quick illustration - ask Mesh to make one, and the result comes back tagged Generated.

Mesh draws a diagram
Ask Mesh to illustrate rotational symmetry and a generated diagram appears back on the shelf.

Tip  Snip a shape from the board, send it, then ask Mesh to redraw it cleanly - the snip and the new diagram both wait for you here.
