Settings & account
Your personal corner of Mesh, the same wherever you are. Set your name and photo, check how you sign in, pick your source colors, see your plan and usage, and reset your content for a clean slate.
Your whole-account home
Everything here follows you across every subject and workspace. Open it from your avatar in the top bar, or from your profile on Home. Don't mix it up with Workspace settings, the small panel that governs one workspace's name, memory, and delete button.
Eight sections run down the left. Click one to scroll to it.
Profile
The name and face Mesh uses for you. Set the Display name Mesh calls you by, add a first and last name if you like, and add a photo - PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 5 MB.
Nothing saves on its own. Change a field and a bar rises with Save changes and Discard, so a stray edit never sticks. Save stays greyed out until the display name has something in it.
Account
The read-only facts about how you get in - your Email, your Sign-in method, when you joined, and your account ID. They're here to check, not to edit. Two actions do live here:
- Change email - if you sign in with an email and password, send a confirmation link to a new address and finish the change from your inbox.
- Sign out - Sign out ends every active session, not just this one.
Appearance
Every kind of thing in a workspace wears a color you can spot at a glance - maps, notes, artifacts, Library files, images, and videos each have their own. Pick them here, under a Source colors list with one row per kind.
Open a row's swatch to choose a ready color or type an exact one. Colors save on their own a moment later, and All changes saved confirms it stuck. Each row has a reset, and Reset all restores every default.
What Mesh knows
Mesh keeps a short, private note of facts about you - your name, how you like to be addressed, a stable preference, an accessibility need - so you don't re-explain yourself each session. It's plain facts you can read, never a transcript, and it follows you everywhere.
This is the broadest of four such notes, the one about you. The others sit closer to the work: one for a whole workspace in Workspace settings, one for a Map, and one for a Topic - each read where that work is.
To fix a single fact, just tell Mesh in chat. To wipe the whole note and start clean, Forget it - it asks once first.
Plan & usage
Your account type and how much Mesh you've used. Every account is Free or Plus. Working with Mesh draws from two separate pools, and the meters here show where each stands.
- Monthly Mesh usage
- Included with your plan each cycle. Spent first, and refills on your reset date.
- Extra Mesh credits
- Any credits you've added on top. They kick in after monthly usage runs out and don't reset.
Depending on your account, buttons here let you Upgrade to Plus, Manage billing, or Add credits.
Storage
One meter, one job: how full your Library files are. It counts only files stored in the Library - your images, notes, chats, maps, artifacts, videos, and profile photo don't touch it, and it's separate from Mesh usage. If it fills up, clear a file before adding more.
Support
Contact support opens the same feedback form you'll find throughout Mesh - send a bug, an idea, or a question. It quietly tags along which page you were on, so you never have to explain where you were.
Danger Zone
The one place to wipe the slate. Reset Mesh content clears your subjects, workspaces, chats, notes, maps, artifacts, Library files, images, videos, and all four memory notes - from your profile down to each topic. Your account, profile, plan, and credits stay untouched.
Because there's no undo, the button stays off until you type the exact words reset my mesh content. This resets content only - there is no delete-my-account button here.
Tip Set your display name and how you like to be addressed early - Mesh reads your profile note in every workspace, so it carries the moment you save it.
