Plans & Mesh credits

The four plans

Free, Basic, Plus, and Pro. A plan sets four things: whether Mesh usage is a one-time or monthly allowance, how many Workspaces you can have, the size of your Library allowance, and which Models are available. Free has no monthly usage and starts with a one-time gift of 250 Mesh credits. Basic is the first plan with monthly usage. Free includes one Workspace; every paid plan includes unlimited Workspaces.

Note:  Storage shows how much of your Library allowance you have used.

Mesh credits

Credits are the units Mesh's work uses up. Paid plans include Monthly usage that refreshes each month. Extra usage expires 12 months after it is added; new Free accounts start with 250, and purchased packs add more. Some screens call these AI credits — it is the same balance.

Read your Plan & usage card

One card in Settings holds your plan and what is left of it.

• On a paid plan: the Monthly usage bar shows the percentage of your allowance still available, with its reset date at its right end. It starts full and empties as credits are spent.
• Extra usage as the exact credits left, with the soonest expiration date. New Free accounts start here with 250.
• A plain notice when something needs you: out of credits, a plan change scheduled, or paid access ending.

The credit ring beside the message box shows your remaining monthly allowance. Open it for your reset date and exact extra credits left. On Free, the button uses a credits icon because there is no monthly allowance to meter. Plan & Usage there opens this Settings card.

Change your plan or add credits

• Upgrade plan opens the Choose your plan page for a first paid subscription. On an active paid plan, Change plan opens the plan page in Mesh, where bigger plans start today and smaller plans start at your next renewal.
• Before an upgrade, Mesh shows the exact charge today, the credits added now, and the next renewal. You pay the difference between the two plans, your unused monthly credits carry over, and your billing month restarts that day.
• If your bank declines the payment, your current plan stays in place. If your bank asks you to confirm the payment, Mesh sends you to Stripe's secure page and your plan changes only when that payment succeeds. Mesh confirms an upgrade only after Stripe confirms payment; if the credits are still syncing, it says so.
• Moving to a smaller plan charges nothing and takes effect at your next renewal. Until then you keep everything in your current plan, and Plan & usage lets you keep your current plan or choose a different one. Keep your current plan before upgrading again, so a failed upgrade cannot erase the change you scheduled.
• Billing details opens your billing portal for payment methods, invoices, and cancellation.
• Add credits lets a paid account buy 600-credit packs, valid for 12 months.
• New subscriptions and credit packs check out on Stripe's secure page. Plan changes are confirmed in Mesh and charge the card on file.

When you run low

At zero, the app stops a request before it begins — nothing is sent and nothing is spent — and every conversation you already have stays readable.

• On a paid plan, your monthly allowance is used before any extra credits.
• Bigger models, higher reasoning, longer answers, images, web reading, and lots of back-and-forth all use more credits.
• There is no automatic overage charge. You are never billed for credits you did not buy.
