Storage
Storage is one card in Settings, Library storage: how much of your plan's Library allowance you have used, and how much is left. Only the files in Library storage count toward it, and those are the files Mesh can read. A file you take out of Library storage takes up none of your allowance, so taking out a file you want to keep is the quickest way to make room.
What the meter counts
Only your Library counts. One allowance covers all your Workspaces.

When the meter is full
Use Take out of Library storage on files you want to keep but do not need Mesh to read (Library), or choose Upgrade plan. In Settings, Manage Library storage lets you select files across Workspaces and compare After changes with current usage before you choose Apply changes. A file marked File exceeds plan allowance cannot fit on its own; taking other files out will not make it small enough.
When your plan changes
Moving to a smaller plan while your Library is over the new allowance starts a seven-day clock.
- Delete or take out enough to get under the new allowance in time, and nothing happens.
- Still over when the seven days are up, and Mesh takes out only the least recently active files, just enough to fit. Nothing is deleted.
- Upgrade later and the files Mesh took out go back in on their own, one at a time, as far as the new allowance reaches.
- Files you took out yourself stay out.
